The
Cactus Water Pte Ltd. Was founded in 1988 by the late Mr. Nazir Razak.
He has been succeeded by his son and grandsons, so the third generation
is now involved in the family business.
Since the early 1990's the company began to diversify as a direct result
of listening to its consumer requirements. Consequently The Cactus Water
Pte Ltd. is recognized as producers of high quality soft drinks, energy
drinks, teas, coffees, carbonated fruit punches, carbonated isotonic flavored
water and mineral water products. The changes that have occurred in recent
years involved the new packaging, the introduction of new pack sizes and
the further development of naturally flavored mineral waters and soft
drinks. These changes not only add to the range of products within Cactus,
but also compliment the existing traditional products, in order to satisfy
the changing demands of the market.
The revolution in drinking tastes that has witnessed the consumption of
mineral water and flavored mineral water leap forward, coincides with
the Cactus Water Pte Ltd.'s newest product ranges. Since achieving ISO
9002 Standard in 1994, and being one of the few companies in Malaysia
to do so, the company has had a resounding success in all its markets
with its still and sparkling flavored waters and soft drinks. The finest
quality products, presented in the highest quality packaging, have proved
for the company, to be a recipe for success.
Cactus has continued to increase its market share in all sectors, with
particular emphasis to its export markets. The company's strategy is to
continue increasing sales throughout Malaysia as well as develop further
sales in our export markets which currently include the Singapore, Thailand,
Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Japan.
It is widely recognized that customers not only judge the success of a
company by the quality of their product, but also the environment in which
it is produced. Cactus sources its raw material nom its own wells, bottled
in its highly equipped bottling plant and is distributed through an efficient
carrier. The Cactus Water Pte Ltd. is a progressive company and the investments
made in new machinery, warehousing and in its employees- illustrates that
this growth is going to continue.
